Wise Mind
Paragraphs

two minds connected - one orderly and the other messy

New Single Session Format!

Wise Mind will provide you with skills to recognize and manage strong emotions you may be experiencing. This workshop stems from the concepts of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), focusing on Core Mindfulness, Distress Tolerance, and Emotion Regulation. Students report the most benefit from this workshop comes from practice of the exercises. The purpose of the Wise Mind workshop is not designed to get rid of unpleasant emotions. Although emotions can be occasionally unpleasant and/or difficult, they can actually be helpful and motivating. Our hope is that this 1-session workshop can provide you with a starting point from which to integrate these skills into your daily life.
