The School of Pharmacy has developed and maintained reciprocal global experience/exchange programs with two Japanese Universities. This fall’s School of Pharmacy global exchange program with visiting Japanese pharmacy student, Renon, from Hoshi University in Tokyo, Japan, offered Pacific students a meaningful look into global pharmacy practice, pharmacy education, healthcare system, cultural differences, and the value of international collaboration.

On Monday, November 3, °ÅÀÖÊÓÆµ School of Pharmacy hosted its third Career & Experiential Fair series since 2022, welcoming 26 organizations to Wingspan Event & Conference Center in Hillsboro for a full day of networking, professional development, and career exploration. Students from both PharmD pathways (3-year and 5-year) participated in the event.

May is always a busy and exciting time at the School of Pharmacy, and this year was no exception. As the summer season began, our campus was buzzing with activity—from board exam prep, exit focus groups, and the research showcase to graduation festivities and everything in between.

Across the street from the School of Pharmacy—just beyond the Max Light Rail tracks—sits the Pharmaceutical Sciences Research Lab. Though summer brings a quieter campus, the lab is anything but slow. Every year, our pharmaceutical sciences faculty and lab research staff provide enriching summer research experiences to undergraduate students through the ASPET SURF program, as well as to PharmD and Master’s students.
