After months of planning in collaboration with the Alumni Association, 21 alumni from °ÅÀÖÊÓƵ School of Pharmacy’s Class of 2010 gathered in October to celebrate their 15-year reunion. Planning for a 10-year reunion was suspended in 2020 due to COVID, but the 5-year delay proved worth the wait.
The event began on Friday, October 24th with an evening social at BG’s Food Cartel in Beavert
on, then picked up again early on Saturday, October 25th with a pancake breakfast freshly prepared and served by our faculty members, Drs. Reza Karimi, Sigrid Roberts, and Kris Marcus. We transitioned out to Forest Grove to join the Homecoming festivities (technically, most of us went off and had our own mini-adventures or took naps at the hotel because we’re all so old now). Our Reunion Reception was hosted on the Forest Grove campus on Saturday evening with plenty of great food and drinks, and more incredible conversations.
Many alumni travelled great distances as we had attendees from Washington D.C., Utah, Texas, South Dakota, and Colorado, in addition to our Pacific Northwest friends! Was it worth the wait? Heck yeah! Let the planning for our 20th Class Reunion begin!
On behalf of the Planning Committee, we encourage all classes to consider planning a reunion. It can be done!
