Do you know someone who is passionate about the Pacific community and enjoys connecting with others? Nominate a colleague or yourself to be a part of the °ÅĄÖŹÓʵ Staff Senate. There are eight openings for the 2025-27 Staff Senate term. Staff Senators have a front-row seat to learn and engage in larger decisions made at the university. Nominations are being accepted through March 14.
All employees are eligible to access our Employee Assistance Program, Canopy. Canopy offers a variety of services such as counseling, well-being tools, identity theft resources, home ownership and housing support, and much more. They also have a Canopy EAP app available for download on Google Play or int he App Store. In this app, you can access Enlight which provides digital therapy and wellness tools.
Tomorrow is the last day to register for the Staff & Faculty Bowling Night on Friday, Feb. 28 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Rainbow Lanes in Forest Grove. Pull together a team and reserve a lane or register yourself and we'll add you to a team. The game, shoes, pizza, and prizes are covered by the Staff Senate.
The Staff Senate Professional Development Committee is pleased to announce a Peace of Mind and End of Life Planning Workshop presented by The Heartwood Collective on Friday, March 14. This interactive fully remote one-hour workshop supports employees by leading them through the practicalities of end-of-life preparation while also covering how to navigate these topics with parents and older loved ones. Advanced registration is required.
