The Finders Keepers Free Store is hosting a Pop-Up in the UC from 3pm on Tuesday, January 14 to 1pm on Friday, January 17. We have tons of clothing and we need you to support sustainability by picking some up! The Free Store itself is still closed and preparing to re-open on January 26th. During this time, you can also support our work by dropping off donations. While we particularly need masculine clothing, rain gear, clear storage boxes, cute knick knacks, and clip hangers, our dedicated student team are eager to sort and find a home for everything you are ready to get rid of!

Additional certified Motor Pool drivers needed for scheduled trips

Pacific's Staff Senate is sponsoring a hot breakfast at the All-Staff Meeting on Wed., January 28. Join your colleagues and arrive any time after 8:30 a.m. for breakfast. The meeting starts at 9 a.m. and ends at 10:30 a.m. The meeting will be held in person on the Hillsboro and Forest Grove campuses and on Zoom. Registration for breakfast is required.

We are announcing a significant change regarding the compensation structure for individuals who currently serve the company in a dual capacity: as both employee and independent contractor for specific, additional projects.

Effective July 1, 2025, all work performed for ������Ƶ by an individual who is also a W-2 employee will be compensated solely through the payroll system as employee wages.

These trainings are mandatory for supervisors who handle employee onboarding and I-9 verifications in your department. You will only need to sign up for one training. If you have attended an I-9 training in person or via zoom, you do not need to sign up for the January training.

As we settle back in after the holidays, it's a great time to set intentions and goals for the year ahead. Essentials by TIAA is helping participants start the year strong with suggestions for a personalized financial check-in.

Although MLK Day is a ������Ƶ holiday, we encourage you to think of this National Day of Service as a "a day on, not a day off'. A wide variety of events and gatherings will happen in the Portland Metro area - find one that resonates with you in our campus guide. Then, plan to join us in the University Center for a day-after gathering on Tuesday, January 20th. Drop-in any time between 11:30am-2:00pm for food, drinks, recitation, reflection, and action!

Kaiser Permanente has created a no-cost webinar series, designed to help employees (do not have to be a Kaiser member) refresh, restore, and thrive—all year long! These programs are open to ALL employees and provide practical tools for mental, emotional, and physical well-being.
