We understand that reduced or delayed SNAP benefits impact a significant number of our Pacific community members and we want you to know that your University is here for you and that we are committed to helping you bridge this gap.
All new fall students are invited (required for students in PACU 101) to attend student success week - featuring sessions around battling procrastination/burnout, creating community, building your career path, creating your experience as a learner (using AI effectively, building writing skills, and creating a study life), understanding financial aid, and more!

The federal government shutdown is affecting funding for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). If the shutdown continues into November, SNAP benefits will not be issued in Oregon until federal funding resumes. This is unprecedented and the impact on our community will be significant (750,000+ Oregonians and 40 million people nationwide, including 16 million children, currently rely on food assistance through SNAP). You can help.
