Begin your child's school life in the highest quality educational setting — come and see what children need to become critical thinkers and joyous, self-directed learners at the Early Learning Community (ELC)!

We know it feels as if the school year has just begun, but we’re already thinking about the 2026-27 school year here at the ELC. As we approach enrollment season we are excited for folks from our community — here at °ÅÀÖÊÓƵ and beyond — to visit our school and learn more about our Preschool - 4th Grade programs.

Significant research and work have already been conducted by a Freedom of Expression Task Force, approved by the University Council in October of 2022. In May 2025, the University Council agreed to reestablish a new task force during the 2025-26 academic year to continue this work. The Provost, as chair of the University Council, is seeking nominations of faculty and staff to fill two faculty member positions and two staff member positions. Given the scope of this project, the time commitment is estimated to be between 3-5 hours per month, but may vary depending on the progress of the work. We anticipate that the completion of this work will be spring of 2026.

The E-Verify website is currently offline and employers are unable to access or process E-Verify cases while the system is down. If you are responsible for completing I-9 verifications in your department, please keep record of the employees that you are needing to run the E-Verify for. Once the system is available, you will need to go back into the Pacific I-9 checklist to run the E-Verify for your employee. Employers must still complete Form I-9 no later than the third business day after an employee starts work for pay.
