°ÅÀÖÊÓƵ’s Oregon Healthcare Workforce Institute (OHWI) has been awarded a $12,000 grant from Worksystems, Inc. The grant will go toward an upcoming four-day healthcare career exploration program, which targets underserved high school sophomores and juniors from Hillsboro High School.

°ÅÀÖÊÓƵ faculty members and supporters have advocated for several years for recognition for a new class of dental care provider. This month, the Oregon Legislature signed on.

Rachel Seibert BSW '12 was called to medical social work — and to Randall Children’s Hospital — by personal experience. At 18, she was in an accident that nearly claimed her life. She was treated at Randall for more than two years by some of the same people who are, today, her colleagues.
