Outdoor Pursuits is °ÅÀÖÊÓƵ’s home for outdoor recreation. Student-driven and always evolving, the Outdoor Pursuits offers a variety of trips, rentals, and courses for Pacific students, alumni, staff & faculty, as well as members of the community.

Stop by the Milky Way and join Outdoor Pursuits for the Plant Swap event! We'll have propagations and succulents up for grabs, but feel free to bring your own propagations to plant in our recycled jars or use one of the ones provided and paint something! Pots and propagations will be available as supplies lasts, so be sure to stop on by early to get the best selection!
Looking to get your downhill skiing or boarding fix? Hop on our shuttle up to Mt. Hood! We'll do the driving and then turn you loose for a day of shreddin' with whomever and however you please. Don't have your own gear? We have cross country skis and snowshoes to rent!
If climbing dirty boulders outside in the cold doesn't appeal to you, why not try indoor rock climbing for a change? Join Outdoor Pursuits instructors and Pacific students for a night of indoor adventuring at a local indoor climbing gym! This indoor excursion will certainly be warmer and dryer, plus just as much fun, as a day out on the rocks! Climbers of ALL experience levels are encouraged to participate!
If you're a fan of hiking and a lover of the snow, be sure to join our instructors on a snowshoeing excursion. Let us take you on a snowshoe-clad adventure and share the Pacific Northwest Winter Wonderland with you.
Join us for a day of backcountry trekking. We will explore snow-covered trails and make some winter memories, all while strapped snuggly into a pair of skis. All gear, instruction, and transportation is provided, or bring along your own skis to cross the terrain!
