Outdoor Pursuits is °ÅÀÖÊÓƵ’s home for outdoor recreation. Student-driven and always evolving, the Outdoor Pursuits offers a variety of trips, rentals, and courses for Pacific students, alumni, staff & faculty, as well as members of the community.

Join Outdoor Pursuits for an unforgettable day exploring the stunning waterfalls of the Columbia Gorge! We’ll hike through some of the most scenic trails in the area and wrap up the adventure with a relaxing picnic surrounded by breathtaking views.
Take a break and spend some time with a therapy dog at the Outdoor Pursuits building in the Milky Way. Stop by between 3:30 and 5:30 p.m. to meet Bo and his owner Karen, relax, and enjoy a little stress relief with a friendly pup!
Grab a paddle, a PFD (personal flotation device), and get ready for some serious fun paddling across the open water. Instructors well-versed in paddle technique and boat etiquette will lead you through a day of exploration and non-stop fun. No need to own a kayak, all gear, transportation, and instruction is provided when heading out to sea!
Take a break and join Outdoor Pursuits for a relaxing walk to the Labyrinth. Enjoy some fresh air, take a moment to unwind, and grab a popsicle while spending time with friends. Stop by and reset before the rest of your day.
Have you ever stared up at the stars and wished you could point out constellations? Join Outdoor Pursuits staff stargazing in the Boxer Gardens! And if you start to get chilly, we'll have a fire and s'mores out by the Environmental House.
