Paragraphs

Coming Sept. 1, 2025

The °ÅÀÖÊÓƵ Ombuds Team is a confidential, off-the-record resource for faculty, staff, and administrators to share concerns, explore steps toward resolution, and gain tools to move forward productively in the workplace.

Ombuds team members can help with a wide range of university-related issues, including:

  • Challenging group dynamics
  • Communication challenges
  • Unethical behavior
  • Microaggressions
  • Perceived unfair treatment
  • Perceived harassment/discriminations
  • Fear of speaking up
  • Confusing/concerning processes or procedures
  • And any other concern

Ombuds team members will listen to your concerns and help you explore options for addressing those concerns. They can help you navigate organizational policies, procedures and resources, as well as coach you through how to effectively communicate those concerns, if you choose to do so. They can even help facilitate informal discussions between individuals and groups, when appropriate.

The ombuds team is an independent, impartial, informal and confidential resource for Pacific employees. Designed to provide a listening ear, a guide through resources, and tools for productive workplace relations, the ombuds team does not replace formal administrative channels.
