This policy governs the protection, management and expression of the Ƶ identity and brand. Its purpose is twofold:
- Legal Protection: To establish mandatory requirements for the user of university-owned names and marks. This protects the university from consumer confusion, unauthorized endorsement, and “brand dilution” by asserting legal control over how trademarks are used by internal units, external partners, and third-party manufacturers.
- Brand Stewardship: To define and defend the university’s public identity and reputation. By establishing standards for a unified visual and editorial voice, this policy ensures that all communications reflect the university’s core values, mission, and academic excellence, thereby building institutional trust with our global communities.
