Lokahi Lunn '11 followed his passion for art through Pacific and to his family's business, Manuheali'i, where he designs clothing inspired by Hawaiian culture.

The nearly $265,000 grant from the U.S. Department of Education will add study-abroad opportunities in Pacific Rim countries and add Hawaiian language and culture classes to the undergraduate academic catalog.

Part of the university's annual Lūʻau and Hōʻike, the Country Store brings some of the foods, flowers, produce and fashions to the Forest Grove Campus for a Hawaiian-style farmer's market away from the islands.
