From Dancer to Director: Student Filmmaker Captures the Challenges of a Dance Career
Even if she wasn't performing professionally, Ker always intended to stay connected to dance. Through her coursework and her experience as part of the Pacific Dance Ensemble, she discovered a passion for dance photography and videography. "A Way of Walking" effectively merges Ker's love for dance and storytelling, honoring both artistic disciplines.
'We All Treat Each Other Like Family'
Chika Matsumoto 鈥21 first started dancing because it鈥檚 what her friends were doing. But she never stopped. 鈥淚t turned out to be a lifelong passion and hobby with me,鈥 she said. 鈥淒ance has just been that one thing that stuck with me my entire life.鈥

Lianda Lonergan '21 is a member of the Pacific Dance Ensemble stying dance, exercise science and more, as she plans a career in physical therapy and preventative medicine for dancers.
