Welcome to Ƶ! I am deeply honored to serve as your Interim Provost. Since joining this community in 1995, Pacific has been both my professional home and my passion. Over the last three decades, I have had the privilege of serving as a faculty member in sociology, Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, and Vice President for Enrollment Management and Student Affairs. These diverse experiences have given me a profound appreciation for the vital roles each of you plays in making our university thrive.
To our students and families, Pacific is, above all, a place of meaningful self-discovery. Whether you are exploring the liberal arts as an undergraduate or training to be tomorrow’s leaders, educators, and caregivers in our graduate and professional programs, our priority is your growth and success. Parents, families, and students, thank you for trusting us with this part of your journey. Having worked alongside you for many years, I know firsthand the immense dedication and care you bring to our campus every day.
