Sept 30 Faculty Excellence Listening Session

Description

The Faculty Excellence Committee invites you to attend one or more listening sessions. There will be a session held on each campus (Forest Grove and Hillsboro), and you are welcome to participate even if you are only available for part of the scheduled time. A Zoom option is also available for each session.

These listening sessions will give you an opportunity to share thoughts on your faculty experience across all domains of the faculty role (teaching, scholarship, service) at all stages of the faculty journey. The committee is particularly interested to learn:

  • What faculty development programming/resources/supports are useful & relevant to you currently at Pacific
  • What faculty development programming/resources/supports could use some revision or are not as useful to you currently at Pacific (and why); plus areas for additional support
  • What faculty development programming/resources/supports °ÅÀÖÊÓƵ should consider offering
  • As well as to share your ideas or suggestions for restructuring as they pertain to the faculty experience here at °ÅÀÖÊÓƵ.

Please note: A brief introduction to the Faculty Excellence Committee and its work to date will be presented at the beginning of each session. Once that concludes, participants who join over Zoom will have their session facilitated solely in the online space. All feedback provided will be disseminated to the °ÅÀÖÊÓƵ community through shared notes (similar to how meeting minutes are posted) and the regular restructuring committee updates.
