About the Deep Dive:
The Deep Dive matches each student with a partner who may be from a different background, attend a different school, and have a different political ideology. Together, each pair is guided through a deep discussion about voting and representation where you will:
- Talk about your personal experience, background, and opinions on voting
- Review facts around voting, such as 2024 presidential election turnout stats and data on non-voters
- Discuss the concept of “consent of the governed” in relation to facts you’ve just reviewed
- Learn about and discuss tactics that could increase voter turnout
