Oregon Ballots Have Arrived
Oregon ballots have started arriving in mail boxes! If you don’t receive yours by May 5, contact the County's Election Office at 503-846-5800 to request a replacement ballot.
Voters have until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 19, to return their ballot at an . Mailing you ballot is also an option, in which case they must be postmarked on or before May 19 and received by the Elections Office by May 26 to be processed and counted. No postage is required when mailing your ballot via the United States Postal Service e.g. at the campus mailrooms.

Why vote?
Elected officials make decisions on topics like student debt, funding for higher education, and what your professors are allowed to teach in the classroom. Local offices have a direct impact on your quality of life - and when these offices are on the ballot they are often decided by a handful of votes.
College voters constitute a significant voting bloc - large enough to influence local and national election outcomes and shape the future and health of a participatory, equitable, and informed democracy. You are just as impacted by the decisions of elected officials as any other voter - and your voice is just as important.
Plus EVERY STATE has an election this year! There are more than 45,000 seats on the ballot in 2026, including all 435 U.S. House of Representatives, 35 U.S Senators, 36 governors, 19,000+ city council seats, 18,000+ school board members, 6,000+ state legislators, 3,000+ mayors and city executives, 1,000+ judges, and so much more.
Now is the time to get registered and start paying attention so you feel confident voting this month and in the November 3 midterms.
