Hello!  My name is Amber.  Pacific has been a big part of my life for a really long time.  I first joined the Pacific community in 1999 when I enrolled as an undergraduate student, and then went on to earn both my bachelor's and master's degrees from Pacific.  I worked as the administrative assistant for the MFA in Writing Program from 2006-2008, and then went on to work in the Hillsboro School District as an elementary teacher (primarily Kindergarten) for  a little over 10 years.  

I came home to Pacific in 2018 to join the School of Healthcare Administration and Leadership as the program administrator, and I have been there ever since.  I love working with students, and these days, the students I support are a little bit older, and a little bit taller, but sometimes not so different from the Kindergartners that I used to teach! :) I am grateful for the opportunity to serve as a Staff Senator, and my goal is to find creative, meaningful ways to connect our work at Pacific and to help support each other through this transitional time for the University.  

When I am not working, I LIVE for vinyl records, and concerts, and outdoor music, and you can always find me either taking photos of the sky, or at a concert. :)
