Students, staff, and faculty are invited to bring lunch and join Jamshid Khajavi in conversation on October 7th from 11:30am to 12:45pm in Boxer Pause.
After lunch, don't forget to join us on Oct. 7 at 6pm in Taylor Auditorium (Marsh 216) for a screening of the award winning documentary, Ultimate Citizens, followed by a guided conversation with the star/coach of the film, Jamshid Khajavi.
is the story of Jamshid Khajavi, an extraordinary 65-year-old Iranian American public school counselor who uses the sport of Ultimate Frisbee to help children heal. In an America where many families are quietly, barely getting by, Mr. Jamshid coaches an underdog team of kids on their way to compete in the world’s largest youth tournament.
is a celebration of resilience and belonging, and the third independent feature documentary from award-winning filmmaker Francine Strickwerda.
