E-Verify Temporarily Unavailable

Body

The E-Verify website is currently offline and employers are unable to access or process E-Verify cases while the system is down. Employers must still complete Form I-9 no later than the third business day after an employee starts work for pay. This outage will impact the E-Verify task on the Pacific I-9 checklist. When attempting to run E-Verify, you may encounter a duplicate case check failed alert. At this time, we ask that you keep a record of employees for whom E-Verify still needs to be completed and process those once the site is available. Employees are permitted to begin work as long as both sections 1 and 2 of the I-9 form have been completed. The HR team will notify supervisors when the E-Verify site is available.
