Critical SNAP Benefit Update & Boxer Support

We are reaching out today regarding the unprecedented pause in SNAP benefits (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program). Due to federal funding issues, many in Oregon will not receive their regular SNAP benefits this month.

We understand that reduced or delayed SNAP benefits impact a significant number of our Pacific community members and we want you to know that your University is here for you and that we are committed to helping you bridge this gap.

SNAP Benefit Relief Fund: Apply Now

Thanks to the incredible generosity of donors and supporters who pulled together quickly, we have established a specifically for students who have not received their SNAP benefits.

  • How to Apply for Funding: Submit a along with a copy of your most recent SNAP benefit statement. If approved, a one-time payment will be processed directly to you.
  • Important Note: Funding is limited, and approval is not guaranteed. Please find additional details on the application form.

Please do not hesitate to use the campus food resources available to you immediately:

  • Partners for a Hunger-Free Oregon: Offers assistance in .
  • Virginia Garcia Memorial Health Center Free Food Markets:  in Beaverton, Newberg, and McMinnville. Open to anyone needing food assistance (no verification required).
