°ÅÀÖÊÓƵ faculty and staff share a great wealth of knowledge with our students every day. Would you like to be able to spread that knowledge with the wider community?

The Marketing & Communications office is looking for members of the Pacific community to join our Subject Matter Experts directory. Subject Matter Experts are faculty and staff members who have a wide breadth of knowledge on a topic or field, and are willing to use their expertise to provide trustworthy information to media members for a story.

While the media reaches out to Pacific to find a Subject Matter Expert, we also proactively offer experts with knowledge on a current event or topic in the news.

Subject Matter Experts are welcome on any topic, but we are specifically interested in experts willing to speak on the following topics:

• Healthcare (general topics & specific to your field)
• The environment and climate change
• Education (both K-12 and higher education)
• Social Media
• Artificial Intelligence
• Mental Health (child, youth and adult)
• Economic Issues (including tariffs)
• Topics relevant to local, regional and national government
