Advising and Registration Cycle for Winter and Spring Courses

Advising meetings for winter and spring course planning can begin as early as Oct 6, but don’t need to start that early - it’s up to you as the advisor! The Registrar sent each student their registration date at the end of September to be aware to start thinking about advising, and each advisor has autonomy as to how or when they invite their advisees to advising appointments. , we have a bit more time to meet with our advisees for winter/spring semester planning. ACA and the Registrar are no longer organizing advising by weeks, rather encouraging students to do advising in October and registration in November.
