Practice/Research Interests
My research interests encompass several aspects of drug delivery and formulation design including nanoparticle- and microparticle-based delivery systems, development, chemotherapeutic combination investigation, pharmacokinetics, and drug transport. My research also involves improving the solubility of poorly soluable drugs using cyclodextrins. I'm also interested in developing sustained-release injectable formulations and implants, topical formulations for therapeutic and cosmetic purposes, and microneedle-enabled transdermal delivery systems.

Outside the Classroom
Outside the classroom, I spend most of my after-work time with my wife and kids. I also read a lot of books, listen to classical music, and love many old-school rock bands. My favorite sports are soccer, basketball and tennis.
