Dr. Ho currently serves as the Service Chief of Low Vision and as an Assistant Professor at the College of Optometry. She also holds the position of Director of the Low Vision Clinic at the Washington State School for the Blind in Vancouver, WA. Since her arrival, she has found great fulfillment in teaching a range of didactic lectures and supervising clinical services alongside optometry students.

Dr. Ho earned both her bachelor's and master’s degrees from the University of British Columbia, where her graduate research focused on the physiology and genetics of diabetes. During this time, she was the recipient of the Pharmaceutical Sciences SSRP Award as well as multiple Interdisciplinary Studies Graduate Awards. She later completed her Doctor of Optometry degree at °ÅÀÖÊÓÆµ College of Optometry, where she was recognized with a Community Service Award for her dedication to serving the community. For many consecutive years, Dr. Ho has been consistently honored with the Certificate of Appreciation for Outstanding Volunteer Service by the Washington State School for the Blind, an accolade she continues to receive in recognition of her enduring commitment. She subsequently completed a residency in Low Vision Rehabilitation at the Rosenberg School of Optometry, University of the Incarnate Word. She is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry (FAAO).

Dr. Ho has contributed to the field through scholarly publications, conference presentations, and poster displays at professional meetings. Her clinical experience spans a wide range of settings, including hospitals, the Indian Health Service, the Department of Veterans Affairs, non-profit organizations, schools, and private practices. She is fluent in both English and Chinese. Dr. Ho remains committed to advancing her clinical expertise and academic contributions in order to better serve her patients and educate the next generation of optometrists.
