Practice/Research Interests
I teach the fundamental principles of medicinal chemistry, toxicology, and natural products. In the classroom, I enjoy finding creative ways to relate chemical structure to drug action in order to foster an engaging yet rigorous learning environment for my students. In the lab, my research is focused on projects that utilize comparative in silico approaches to identify pathways critical to either propagating or preventing hepatotoxicity.
