Angie (she/they) holds a master's degree in Professional Mental Health Counseling from the Lewis & Clark Graduate School of Education and Counseling. Angie brings 8 years of experience working with college students in non-clinical roles as well as one year of college counseling to her work at Pacific. She uses an integrative approach grounded in Narrative Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy, anchored by a multicultural and social justice orientation that acknowledges context and systems of power, privilege, and oppression. Angie takes a relational and strengths-based approach with clients, infusing creativity, mind/body, and humor in their therapeutic work. Angie identifies as a queer, BIPOC (multiracial, mainland-born Native Hawaiian), cisgender woman, and proud first-generation college graduate. Angie particularly enjoys supporting students as they face challenges related to adjusting to and managing the pressures of college, exploring their identity, and navigating relationships with friends and family. When not working, Angie enjoys beachcombing and tidepooling on the coast, trying new restaurants and food carts, and a cozy evening crocheting with a cup of earl grey and a good audiobook.
