Dr. MacNab received her PsyD in Clinical Psychology from Pacific in August 2018 and has been an adjunct professor in the PsyD Program for the last 6 years. She completed an APA accredited internship at the Child and Family Development Center in Santa Monica, CA and her postdoctoral residency at Clark County Juvenile Court. Dr. MacNab has worked in a variety of settings with mostly child and adolescent clients doing both therapy and assessment. Prior to being at Pacific full-time she spent 5 years as the first Detention Psychologist at Clark County Juvenile court. Dr. MacNab works from an integrated perspective with training in IPT, CBT, TF-CBT, and MAP as well as experience with LGBTQIA+ youth, adolescents with behavioral disorders, trauma, and parents of children with trauma. Dr. MacNab’s research interests include juvenile justice, LBGTQIA+ youth, child assessment and treatment, burnout and correctional fatigue, and trauma.
