Alex is a second year Clinical Psychology PhD student at °ÅÀÖÊÓƵ. Alex completed her Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the University of La Verne in Southern California where her research area of interest was multicultural psychology. This has continued in her current research interests which is currently focused on cultural competency and the role that plays in delivering adequate mental health services to children and families. In her free time, Alex loves to be by the water, whether that be an ocean, lake, or river, but also enjoys staying home doing puzzles, crocheting, or baking. She also loves to travel, particularly back to Southern California to visit her dogs and her family and take her nieces to Disneyland.
