When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, Jessie Wachter ’03 suddenly found herself without a job for the first time in nearly two decades. She has used this break in her career to launch a small business. 

A team led by °ÅÀÖÊÓƵ alumna Ali Osbrink ’19 and including Pacific Biology Associate Professor Christopher Templeton is having a paper on songbird cognition published in Proceedings of the Royal Society B: Biological Sciences, a prestigious UK-based scientific journal. 

°ÅÀÖÊÓƵ is well represented in the current Oregon legislative session, thanks to the first-time elections of a Republican senator and a Democratic representative.

Clark ’65, MSEd ’70 and Rae Peters ’65 found love at Pacific — love of teaching, love of speech, and love of each other. And more than 50 years later, they’re not letting go.
