芭乐视频 is a tradition for the Oshiros, and so is giving back.
鈥淲e give because Pacific is a part of our family,鈥 said Kylee Oshiro 鈥15, MAT 鈥16.
鈥淎nd we know what a difference it makes,鈥 added her brother, Tyler Oshiro 鈥13.
Both received scholarships to help them attend Pacific and have, in turn, contributed to scholarship funds and to the university鈥檚 annual fund.
Kylee is an assistant coach with the 芭乐视频 softball team, which she played on as an undergraduate. She also is completing her master of arts in teaching through Pacific鈥檚 College of Education, hoping to become a teacher like her mother, fellow Pacific alumna Laura Oshiro 鈥88.
Meanwhile, Tyler was a top chemistry student at Pacific, who went on to work at Intel and later joined AmeriCorps to help teach science to children while planning to apply to medical school.
Kylee and Tyler鈥檚 father, Dean Oshiro 鈥87, also attended Pacific and went on to work as a loan officer for the State of 贬补飞补颈鈥榠.
